What is the Tasks tab on an order?
The Tasks tab is available on orders when your organisation has a Resource Planner license. It provides a view of all planned tasks for the order, showing:
- Which participants are assigned to the order
- When each task is scheduled to start and finish
- The current status of each task (planned, in progress, completed)
What actions are available from the Tasks tab?
From the left-hand menu on the Tasks tab, you have two options:
- Plan order — opens the Resource Planner directly at the order's calendar view, allowing you to drag and drop tasks, assign participants, and adjust scheduled times
- New task — creates a new task on the order and assigns it to a participant without opening the full Resource Planner view
How do tasks relate to Resource Planner?
Tasks created here are the same tasks visible in the Resource Planner calendar. Changes made in the Resource Planner (such as rescheduling or reassigning tasks) are immediately reflected on the order's Tasks tab, and vice versa.
