What is the Activity Log?
The Activity Log provides a system-wide view of recent changes in Handyman Office. It shows updates to orders, customers, employees, and other records as they happen — giving coordinators and administrators a live overview of activity across the system.
The log is particularly useful for:
- Monitoring when field workers synchronise completed orders
- Tracking changes made by other office users in real time
- Investigating when a specific record was last modified
- Auditing actions across the system without opening individual records
How do I open the Activity Log?
Press F3 on your keyboard, or click the Activity Log button in the bottom-left toolbar of Handyman Office. The Activity Log panel opens showing the most recent updates.
What information does the Activity Log show?
Each entry in the Activity Log shows:
- The timestamp of the change
- The type of record that changed (order, customer, employee, etc.)
- The record identifier (e.g. order number)
- The nature of the change (created, updated, status changed, synchronised)
- you who made the change
How is the Activity Log different from the Order Log?
The Activity Log covers all record types system-wide and is suitable for monitoring overall activity. The Order Log (available on the Log tab of individual orders) is scoped to a single order and shows a more detailed history of actions on that order specifically. See Log (Order).
