Which licenses you can assign per user?
The following licenses you can assign at user level in Handyman Office:
- Handyman Office — access to the Handyman Office desktop application
- Handyman Mobile — access to the Handyman Mobile app on Android or iOS
- Handyman Mobile Hours & Costs — enables time and cost registration in Handyman Mobile
- Handyman Mobile Windows (UWP) — access to the Windows Store version of Handyman Mobile
- Store management — access to vehicle store and inventory features in Handyman Mobile
- Report editor — access to the report designer in Handyman Office
- travel log — access to the electronic travel log in Handyman Mobile
The licenses available depend on what your organisation has purchased. Only licenses that have been activated on the company license will appear as options.
How do I assign a license to a user?
- In Handyman Office, go to Configuration → User (CTRL+F7)
- Select you you want to assign a license to
- Click the License tab
- Tick the checkboxes for the licenses you want to assign
- Click OK to save
The license is assigned immediately. you can access the licensed feature the next time they log in or synchronise their mobile device.
How do I update the company license?
Company-level licenses are activated in Handyman ControlCenter. See Activate new license for instructions. Once a company license is activated, it becomes available to assign to individual users here.
