What is department-level terminology?
Handyman uses standard labels for fields throughout the application. You can replace these defaults at company level (applying to all departments) or at department level. Company-level terms take priority and cannot be overridden at department level.
How do I set department terminology?
- Go to Configuration → Department
- Select the department
- Click the Terminology tab
- Enter singular and plural forms of your custom label
- Click OK
The new labels appear in Handyman Office and reports for users in that department. To set terminology for all departments, use Configuration → Company → Terminology instead.
