Understand the Customer field on an order

The Customer menu consists of:

• Select customer

• Send Email

Select customer:

When selecting Select customer you will be able to select another customer (1) or create a new customer (2) in the popup window.

Send Email:

When you select 'Send email', you can send a message to different contacts. Select the contacts you want to inform, write the message, and press send.

It is also possible to do changes like:

• Manage contacts

• Show in map

• Get from map

Manage contacts:

In the customer tab you can select to manage contacts.

Depending of type of contacts you will be able to

• create new contact

• create new independent contact

• remove contact

Show in map:

 

If you add a workplace to the customer that does not appear on the map, you can click on Show in map selection, and the map Handyman updates to show the address, as long as the address is correct.

 

Get from map:

 

If you don’t have i.e. postcode in work location, but the map shows correct, you can click the Get from map choice and the address Handyman updates with postcode.

 

You can also do the same with longitude/latitude.
