You can add materials to an order, or in some cases edit material. If you have integration with the financial system, or the registration has been invoiced in Handyman, it will not be possible to change the registration.
It can also be planned how much material one estimates to use on an order.
In the material menu on the left you will find the options:
- Add
- Add “miscellaneous”
- Edit / View
- Delete
- Approved
- Copy
Add:
When adding material, you can check the setting (1) to see which suppliers and store (2) you have activated for search
When registering material, use the search window (1) to display items with the correct price that appear in the editing section of the window (2) after the search has been performed. Here you select which inventory the material is retrieved from, if applicable. category, number or planned number. Some also use the fields reference and serial number, but it is often customer-specific how/if you use these fields.
When you have filled in and pressed add, the material will appear as a material line on the order.
Add miscellaneous articles:
If you are adding items that are not in the item selection, you can use add miscellaneous articles. Here you do not enter an item number, but a description of the item you have had to obtain for this order.
If you have set up miscellaneous articles that should be assigned an item number under Configuration> Company> Logistics> Item number for miscellaneous items, the material line will be assigned the number selected here. If you have not set up an item number, it will be displayed without the item number.
Edit / View:
Edit will be displayed in the menu when the material is not yet locked (not exported or invoiced). When editing is active, you can modify the registration. The same window as when you registered the material will appear, and you can make changes if you wish.
View appears in the menu when the material can no longer be edited because the material has been exported or invoiced.
When you select View, the same window appears as when you registered the material, but you can not change the registration (read only)
Delete:
Delete appears in the menu when the material is not locked by export or invoicing.
If you have marked registrations that are locked for editing, it will also be inaccessible.
