You can add hours and costs to an order, or in some cases edit hours and costs. If you have integration with the ERP system or the registration is invoiced in Handyman, it will not be possible to change the registration.
Depending on the type of order, it may be desirable to register hours and costs of different types such as: normal time, overtime, holiday, illness, tolls and ferry.
In the hours and costs menu on the left you will find the options:
- add
- View / Edit
- Delete
- Controlled
- Copy
- Show signature
There are several settings that can affect which tabs and options are displayed and what needs to be filled out.
Salary types that have "description must be filled in" activated, will display a notification at the bottom of the editing window "Additional information must be filled in" until you register information in the description window under the additional info tab.
Salary types that have activated "time information required" will display a notification at the bottom of the edit window "Time info must be filled in" until the dates and times are filled in on the time registration tab.
Salary types that have activated "rate required" will show a notification "rate must be filled in" until the rate is filled in.
Add:
- Select or search for the employee (search can link to search option in the edit window)
- Select or search by salary type (search can link to search option in the edit window)
- Select the date the registration applies to
- Select the number of hours / amount
The registration can be set as inspected in the edit window if desired.
External vouchers indicate whether there are vouchers outside Handyman related to the registration
If you want to give an agreed customer price, you can activate the tick for this and have the price set for the salary type for this registration overridden.
Fill in the description by typing in the text box or select words from the dictionary if the company has created a dictionary.
If you want to delete everything you have written in the text box, you can delete with the x icon.
If you want to add a timestamp to the description, you can tap the clock icon.
If time information is required, you must select the date and time in the time registration tab. Be aware that the date in hours and the cost tab win over the date on the time registration tab.
The Calculate button will calculate the time between start and finish, and update the number of hours in hours and the cost tab

View / Edit:
If the registration is displayed in the menu, it means that you are no longer allowed to edit the registration. The registration is locked because it has been transferred to the ERP system, invoiced or similar. If the registration is incorrect, you must then enter a corresponding registration in minus so that the total is correct.
If the registration gets Edit the selection in the menu, you can make a correction in the registration. The choices will be the same as on add as described above.
Delete:
If the registration is not closed for editing, you will be able to delete the registration. You must confirm that the registration will be deleted in a popup window.
When the registration can no longer be edited, the delete selection will also be grayed out.
Inspected:
Used in the order control module, simple integration and the invoice module to mark registrations that have been checked and ok.
The modules require their own license.
Copy:
You can copy a previous registration by selecting copy in the menu on the left under hours and costs.
The new registration then comes with the current date, but with the employee, number of hours and description copied from the original registration. Before you press ok, you must remember to change if, for example, there is another employee you now work hours for or the description is not descriptive of new registration.
Signature:
This feature has not yet been developed for the new Handyman Mobile application.

Search option in the edit window
If there are many employees or many salary types available, it may be desirable to apply to narrow the list when registering in the edit window. Enter parts of the name / word and press the magnifying glass or press enter.
