Categories for equipment are used in the Service module to provide a clearer view. By creating categories, you can easily assign them to new or existing equipment.
- Navigate to the Service module in Handyman Office
- Select "Equipment"(1) and then find the equipment you want to assign a category to (2)
- Click "Edit" (3)
- If the department to which the equipment belongs has a configured equipment category, then this field will be required in the wizard.
- Select a category from the dropdown list
- Complete the wizard
