What is the difference between moving a site and moving equipment?
- Moving equipment — transfers a piece of equipment from one site to another. The equipment's service history moves with it to the new site.
- Moving a site — moves a site (with all its equipment) under a different parent location or customer. All equipment and their service histories remain attached to the site.
How do I move equipment to a different site?
- In Handyman Office, go to the Service module (CTRL+F6)
- Find and select the piece of equipment you want to move
- Right-click and select Move
- Select the destination site from the list
- Confirm the move
The equipment and its complete service history now appear under the new site. The original site no longer lists that equipment.
How do I move a site to a different customer?
- In Handyman Office, go to the Service module
- Find and select the site you want to move
- Right-click and select Move
- Select the destination customer
- Confirm the move
