What types of orders can I find?
- Active orders — Orders assigned to you appear automatically in your order list. No search needed.
- Historical orders — Completed or older orders. These only appear in search after an administrator activates them for mobile viewing in Handyman Office.
Contact your dispatcher or administrator if a historical order does not appear in your search results.
How do I search for an order?
- Open Handyman Mobile and go to My Orders
- Tap the magnifying glass icon
- Enter the order number
- Tap Search or the search key on your keyboard
The matching order appears in the list below the search field. Tap it to open the order details.
What if the order does not appear in search results?
- Check that you entered the full order number with no extra spaces
- For historical orders: confirm with your administrator that the order has been activated for mobile access in Handyman Office
- Verify the order exists by checking with your dispatcher
After the next synchronisation, technicians in that department can search for historical orders within the configured date range.
- In Handyman Office, go to Configuration → Department.
- Select the department and click Edit.
- Go to Settings → Handyman Mobile.
- Under Send historical entries to mobile device, choose the appropriate option:
- All — all historical orders are searchable in Handyman Mobile
- This year — only orders from the current year
- This + last year — orders from this year and last year
- Last N months — enter the number of months to include
- Click OK to save.
By default, historical (completed) orders may not be sent to Handyman Mobile devices, depending on your department settings. An administrator controls how far back order history is sent:

Understanding order tabs and filters?
Your order list is organised into tabs for different order types (work orders, internal, available and favourites), and supports sorting and filtering to help you find what you need. For a full overview of how the order list works, see Understand your order list in Handyman Mobile.
