How do I access my contacts in Handyman Mobile?
Tap Contacts in the Navigation bar. The contacts list displays all colleagues and customers synchronised from your Handyman system.
How do I call, text, or email a contact?
Tap the contact you want to reach. Three action buttons appear:
- Phone icon — Opens your device dialler with the number pre-filled
- Message icon — Opens your SMS app ready to send
- Email icon — Opens your email app with the address in the recipient field
Tap the button for your preferred method. Your device's native app opens and is ready to use.
What contacts appear in this list?
- Colleagues active in Handyman
- Customer contacts linked to your orders
- Officials in charge for your current assignments
The list updates during synchronisation. If a contact is missing, synchronise your device and check with your dispatcher that the contact exists in the system.
Why use this instead of my phone's contact list?
The Handyman Mobile contact list gives you immediate access to work-related contacts without switching apps. All numbers and addresses are maintained centrally by your organisation, so you always have current information without manual updates on your device.
What is customer contacts on a work order?
Each work order has its own Contacts and Customer tabs where you can find contact persons for that job and call, SMS or email them directly. See Work with customers and contacts in Handyman Mobile.
