How do I access notification settings?
Go to Settings → Notifications. You must grant Handyman Mobile permission to send notifications on your device the first time you use this feature.
What notification types can I choose?
The Order tasks setting controls what kind of alert you receive for upcoming tasks:
- Appointment + Alarm — Adds the task to your device calendar and triggers an audible alarm
- Appointment — Adds the task to your calendar only, no alarm sound
- None — No notifications for upcoming tasks
How far in advance am I notified?
The Reminder setting controls how long before a task is due that you receive a notification. Choose from:
- 5 minutes
- 15 minutes
- 30 minutes
- 1 hour
Can I see personal appointments alongside work tasks?
Yes. Enable the checkbox Show personal appointments to display your personal calendar appointments together with your work tasks and order-related appointments in the same view.
How long do completed tasks stay in my calendar?
After a task is marked as complete, you can control how many days it remains visible in your calendar before being removed. Enter the number of days in the Days after completion field.
How do I disable notifications for holidays?
You can temporarily disable all Handyman Mobile notifications — for example during annual leave. Tap Disable notifications and select a duration from the list:
- 1 Day, 2 Days, 3 Days, 4 Days
- 1 Week, 2 Weeks, 3 Weeks, 4 Weeks
- Unlimited
Notifications resume automatically when the selected period expires, or you can re-enable them manually at any time.
What is automated order and SLA notifications?
