Who can see Store and ordering settings?
The Store and ordering settings are only visible to users who have been assigned a store management licence in Handyman Office. If you do not see this menu, contact your system administrator.
How do I set the default delivery address for purchase orders?
When you create a purchase order on a mobile device, Handyman Mobile needs to know where to deliver the ordered materials. You can set the default delivery address to either:
- Work location of the order — The delivery address matches the site address of the current order
- Last used address — Uses the same delivery address you entered most recently
How does automatic purchase order generation work?
Handyman Mobile can automatically generate purchase orders when your vehicle store stock falls to a certain level. Configure the trigger:
- Below minimum — A purchase order is generated when stock drops below the defined minimum quantity for a material
- Below maximum — A purchase order is generated when stock drops below the defined maximum quantity
Enable Only update stock controlled articles if you want the system to track only materials explicitly marked as stock controlled in Handyman Office, and ignore other materials.
Enable Automatically add to purchase order when quantity is negative to have Handyman Mobile automatically create a purchase order line when a material's count goes below zero — for example, after registering more usage than you currently have in stock.
How do I refresh my vehicle store contents?
Tap Replace store contents to delete the current store data from your device and re-download the store inventory from Handyman Office on the next synchronisation. Use this if your vehicle store data appears incorrect or out of date.
