What can I configure in Report settings?
The Report settings screen lets you control how reports are generated and delivered across Handyman Office. The main options are:
What is default report language?
You can set a specific language for reports that is different from the company language set in Handyman. This is useful when your internal interface uses one language but customer-facing reports need to be in another language.
Select the preferred language from the dropdown. All reports generated in Handyman Office will use this language by default. Individual reports can still be changed to a different language at the time of printing if needed.
How does automatic printing work?
You can configure reports to print automatically when specific events occur on an order — for example, printing an order confirmation automatically when a new order is created, or printing a work report when an order is completed.
Enable automatic printing for each report type you want to trigger, and select the event that should trigger the print job.
What is default report layouts?
For each report type in Handyman (order confirmation, invoice, service report, checklist, etc.), you can set which layout template is used by default. This is where you select the NHO Elektro layout as the default for compliance checklists, for example, or choose a branded invoice layout.
To set a layout as default:
- Find the report type in the list
- Select the layout you want to use
- Click Set as default
- Click OK to save
What is email settings for reports?
Some report types can be emailed automatically rather than printed. Configure the email settings for each report type here, including the default subject line, recipients, and format (PDF attachment vs inline).
