How do I add a holiday or day off?
- In Handyman Office, go to Configuration → Company (CTRL+F7)
- Click the Time zones tab
- Scroll to the Holidays / Days off section
- Click the green + icon to add a new date
- Enter the date and a description (e.g. "Christmas Day")
- Click OK to save
The date is now marked as a non-working day in the Resource Planner calendar. Employees will not be shown as available on this date when planning tasks.
How do I remove a holiday?
In the Holidays / Days off section, select the date row you want to remove and click the red - (delete) icon. Click OK to save the change.
Do holidays affect absence registration?
The holidays configured here are used by the Resource Planner calendar for visual marking. They also affect working hours calculations when employees register absence — public holidays may be excluded from the hours count depending on your configuration.
