Ready for a new login method
- We will now use Azure AD B2C as a login system for all our products.
- Apart from providing single sign-on (SSO), using such a login system also introduces new features, such as logging in with a corporate account and multi-factor authentication.
- We will roll this out to individual customers in the coming months.
Several other changes and improvements have also been made. Please see below for more details.
Resource Planner
We continue to improve the Resource Planner to make everyday planning faster and smarter..
Moving overdue tasks
The function to move overdue tasks has been updated with a completely new interface, providing you with more control over where to move overdue tasks.
Tasks that have already started can have their new planned end date and time edited individually in the list.
You now have the option to decide which date to move the tasks that have not been started.
Adding events to individual tasks
Two new event types related to planner tasks have been added:
- Relative to the task-planned start
- On task completion
This enables more detailed customer and internal communication during larger projects with numerous tasks.
All the usual actions, like sending SMS or email, can be connected to the event.
SMS sending
New rules and enhanced security have been introduced for the SMS sending option.
- Don't send SMS to the user if "Receive Push notification" is off
- "Send to all" now respects the current users' access level
- A warning is presented when using the "Send to all" option
Event module
- If a planning task is replanned, the events related to the planned start and the planned end will be reactivated
- SLA events were not automatically added to service orders
- New variables in SMS and Email texts have been added to make text content more flexible:
- Contract ID
- Site/Installation ID and Name
- Order contact's name
- Order contact's email address
- Order contact's telephone number
- Order contact's mobile number
- Month from planned start date as text (January, February, etc)
- Month from planned finish date as text (January, February, etc)
- Month from order start date as text (January, February, etc)
- Month from order finish date as text (January, February, etc)
Other important fixes
- Added summary in the order material grid.
- Material imported from the ERP can now be approved manually in the material list.
- It was possible to create order from the Resource Planner even if the option was turned off.
- Editing checklists in the office could reset the checklist to its finished state.
REST API improvements and fixes
- Checking if the email is unique and preventing updates if the identity exists during import. This is preparation for a new login solution where the email address must be unique for each user.
- Add several isNewXX fields in the API for site and equipment import to avoid overwriting important information controlled by Handyman Office.
- Various minor fixes.
