The Services menu manages the Windows services that Handyman uses to perform different functions.
The list view shows which services are installed for the selected client and their current status. The button menu on the left is context-sensitive and disables buttons when they are not relevant for the selected service.
Archived synchronisation connections store a log of connections to the server. A time and an age before deletion must be specified.
How does the synchronisation server work?
This service is always at the top of the list. It is essential for Handyman Mobile users to send and receive orders from the server. It is also used to export order data from Handyman Office.
How does file import work?
This service is responsible for fetching files from the specified import folder and inserting the data into the Handyman database.
How does the job agent work?
This service executes functions that require scheduled intervals. Below the service status is a list of the different available functions, each of which you can assign its own interval.
What is the Handyman API?
This service is used to process information between ERP systems and Handyman Office. When installing, the service should be set to start automatically and run under the local system account of the server. After installation, the URL through which external systems communicate with Handyman you can configure. Further details to fill in relate to the GSG Handyman identity management server.
