What are menu plug-ins?
Menu plug-ins add custom entries to the Handyman Office navigation menu, allowing users to open external applications, scripts, or web pages directly from within Handyman Office. Plug-ins are typically created by GSG Handyman or your system integrator for specific workflow integrations.
How do I set up a menu plug-in?
- Log in to Handyman ControlCenter on the server
- Navigate to Menu Plug-ins
- At the top, select the client from the dropdown
- The list shows all installed plug-ins with name, description, version number, date, and publishing status
- Use the buttons on the left to Add a new plug-in, Publish an existing one, or Delete it
- Once published in ControlCenter, the plug-in becomes available in Handyman Office for the selected client
Where does the plug-in appear in Handyman Office?
Published plug-ins appear as entries in the Handyman Office navigation menu under the plug-in section. Users with access to the relevant client will see the new menu item. Contact your system administrator or GSG Handyman support if you need a custom plug-in developed for your organisation.
