Konfigurer inkrementell eksport av lagerbevegelser
After the initial export, incremental changes in inventory are exported as store movements from BC to Handyman. Dette er basert på filtrerte varepostoppføringer.
Export of full store content should only be used in exceptional cases - see below.
In Handyman settings enable export of store movements in the fasttab Basicdata export.
In the same page go to the fasttab Automation and set the store movement export type to Job Queue / Batch.
This scenario is typically not used in regular operations and is only relevant for system analysis and debugging.
In the Handyman settings page go to the fasttab Automation and set the store movement export type to Job Manual.

Understanding inventory discrepancies between Handyman and BC
BC and Handyman may show different inventory.
This is by design and follows the different purpose and definition of inventory in the two systems.
BC manages inventory from an accounting point of view: Items are deducted from a location when the inventory change is posted. Actual consumption may happened much earlier.
The purpose of Handyman is to show the actual physically available inventory. This is what matters to service technicians in the field. Inventory is updated immediately after an item has been used - regardless when BC is actually posting this transaction.
Example:
Location A has an inventory of 5 pieces in BC and in Handyman.
In Handyman Mobile the technician is using 2 pieces on order x.
The inventory in Handyman is 5-2 = 3 pieces
In BC the inventory is still 5.
The Handyman order is exported to BC.
The BC order is updated with the data from Handyman
The BC order is posted / item lines are shipped.
After this step (and not any moment earlier) BC is updating the inventory to 5-2 = 3 pieces.
