The Activity settings define the “active hours” for the event. This normally reflects the opening hours for the company and the level of support agreed with the customer.
The settings will define a schedule for the time and days when the event is active, and time against warnings and deadlines will be calculated. Define Activity settings according to your agreement with your customer.
Configure “Holidays” for each country under Company/Configuration/Time zone.
There are three options for handling time in relation to the deadline:
- If the deadline falls outside activity hours -> Move remaining time to the start of the next morning.
- 8h Deadline, received at 15:00, Activity schedule ends at 17:00
-> New deadline is following day counts remaining
6h to Start of following day
-> New deadline 14:00 the following day.
- If the deadline falls outside activity hours -> Move the deadline time to the start of the next morning.
- 8h Deadline, received at 15:00, Activity schedule ends at 17:00
-> New deadline is automatically set to 08:00 the following day.
- If the order is created before (define date) (for example 14:00) -> Move the deadline time to the end of the day.
- 8h Deadline, received at 15:00, Activity schedule ends at 17:00
-> New deadline is automatically set to 08:00 the following day. o 8h Deadline, received at 13:00, Activity schedule ends at 17:00 -> New deadline is automatically set to 17:00 the same day
