How this template is structured?
The template uses two chained Events:
- Event 1 — Technician notification: Fires when a yearly service order is created for a piece of equipment. Handyman sends a notification to the technician listed as the preferred technician on that equipment.
- Event 2 — Pre-visit reminder: Fires a configurable number of days before the planned start date. Handyman sends a reminder email to all participants on the order.
How do I apply this template to your orders?
- In Handyman Office, go to Configuration → Events.
- Click New from template and select the yearly service reminder template.
- Set the order category to the category you use for yearly service orders.
- In Event 2, set how many days before the planned start date the reminder should fire.
- Save the template. It applies to all new orders in that category from this point forward.
