How do I activate an Event manually?
An Event can be manually activated by the official in charge if the Event template allows it. Open the order containing the Event, go to the Events tab, and click Done or Dismiss on the event entry.
If the buttons are greyed out, the template does not allow manual activation — the Event will activate automatically when its event type condition is met.
Who else can activate Events?
In addition to the official in charge, the Main participant or all other participants may be granted the right to close Events, depending on how the template is configured.
What happens when an Event is activated?
When an Event is marked as Done or Dismissed, the configured actions execute immediately based on the matching condition — for example, sending an SMS or email notification. Actions tied to the Done condition fire on Done; actions tied to Dismissed fire on Dismiss.
When do Events activate automatically?
Events with an Automatic event type activate when the order is created, started, or completed. Events with a Relative event type activate after a calculated time relative to a date or a previous event's time, including warning notifications before the deadline.
