Why can't an employee log in to Handyman?
Every employee must have a unique email address set up in Business NXT, as this email address is used for logging in to Handyman. If the login fails, check that the employee has a unique email address registered in Business NXT.
Does an employee need to be linked to anything else in Business NXT?
Yes. An employee should always be connected to a Department in Business NXT.
How are Customers synchronized?
Customers are maintained in Business NXT and automatically synchronized to Handyman. Customer transfers can be filtered based on customer categories.
How are Projects handled between the two systems?
Projects in Business NXT are imported into Handyman as Order categories.
How are Products synchronized?
Products are maintained in Business NXT and synchronized to Handyman. The integration supports:
• Material products
• Cost products (such as time and other costs)
How are Stores and Store Stock synchronized?
Stores are synchronized from Business NXT to Handyman. Only stores with an assigned responsible person are imported.
Store stock balances are synchronized automatically during the nightly import.
How is Equipment handled?
Installation Sites and Equipment can be synchronized from Business NXT to Handyman.
The integration also supports two-way synchronization, allowing equipment information to be updated from either system.
How are documents transferred?
Order documents can be synchronized between Business NXT and Handyman.
Reports generated in Handyman can also be exported to Business NXT when document export is enabled.
What happens when an Order is invoiced in Business NXT?
When a Sales Order is finally invoiced in Business NXT, the corresponding Order in Handyman is automatically marked as finally invoiced and moved to historical status.
How do time and material registration from the Handyman Office/Mobile end up in Business NXT?
Orders created in Handyman Office/Mobile, including hours, costs, and material registrations, are exported to Business NXT automatically.
Can new Customers created in Handyman be transferred to Business NXT?
Yes. Customers created in Handyman can automatically be transferred to Business NXT. If preferred, customer creation in Handyman can also be disabled.
How are Purchase Orders from Handyman Mobile handled?
Purchase Orders created in Handyman Mobile can be transferred to Business NXT either as Purchase Orders or as transfers from the main warehouse to a vehicle store, depending on the configured integration settings.
How are Orders created in Handyman?
Sales Orders created in Business NXT that match the configured import filters are automatically imported into Handyman using webhooks.
Orders can also be created directly in Handyman Mobile or Handyman Office. These orders are automatically exported to Business NXT.
