This article answers common questions about the standard integration between Handyman and Tripletex, covering how orders, time registrations, categories, and addresses are synced between the two systems.
Why can't an employee log in to Handyman?
Every employee must have a unique email address set up in Tripletex, as this email address is used for login in Handyman. If login fails, check that the employee has a unique email address registered in Tripletex.
How does time and material registration from Handyman Mobile end up in Tripletex?
Orders created in Handyman Mobile — including hours, costs, and material registrations — are synced to Handyman Office and exported to Tripletex as Tripletex Projects.
Do I need to create Orders manually in Handyman if a Project already exists in Tripletex?
No. Projects created in Tripletex are automatically imported into Handyman Office and Mobile as Orders via webhooks.
How are Project categories handled between the two systems?
Project categories in Tripletex are imported into Handyman as Order categories.
What's the difference between Project Activities and Internal Activities?
Project Activities (Lønnsart Timeliste) should only be used on Work Orders. Internal Activities should only be used on Internal Work Orders.
Which addresses are imported from Tripletex, and what should I be aware of?
Tripletex imports Visiting Address, Delivery Address, and Postal Address into Handyman. When creating a work order in Handyman Office or Mobile, make sure to select the correct address for that order.
Are Internal Orders exported to Tripletex?
No, Internal Orders themselves are not exported from Handyman to Tripletex. However, time registrations logged on Internal Orders are always transferred to Tripletex.
