What is an article package?
An article package is a predefined bundle of multiple materials grouped under a single item reference. When a field worker adds the package to an order, all included items are added at once with their configured quantities. This saves time when a job consistently requires the same set of materials.
Examples of use: a standard cable installation kit, a pump service kit, or a safety equipment bundle.
How do I create an article package?
- In Handyman Office, go to the Logistics module (CTRL+F5)
- Select Article packages in the left-hand menu
- Click New to create a new package
- Enter the package name, article number, and description
- Click OK
- With the package selected, click Add item to add component materials
- For each item, select the material and enter the quantity
- Repeat until all components are added
- Click OK to save the package
The article package is now available for selection when registering materials on an order in Handyman Office or Handyman Mobile.
