When should I create a material manually?
Create materials manually when the item is not in any connected supplier catalogue, or when you need an internal or generic item not tied to a specific supplier product. Manual materials you can use on orders, stored in vehicle or department stores, and included in price lists.
How do I create a new material?
- In Handyman Office, go to Logistics (CTRL+F5)
- Click New material
- Enter the Article number, Description, and Unit (e.g. pcs, m, kg)
- Optionally add manufacturer, product URL, or pricing
- Click OK
The material is now available in Handyman and you can add to orders, stored in stores, and included in price lists.
