How to re-install the Synchronisation Server

When do I need to re-install the Synchronisation Server?

• After a server OS reinstall or migration
• When upgrading to a new major version of Handyman
• When the sync service fails to start and repair has not resolved it

What is steps to re-install?

1. Download the Synchronisation Server installer from the Handyman software portal.
2. Stop the existing Handyman Sync service (if running) via Windows Services.
3. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
4. After installation, open the Handyman Control Center and re-enter the database connection settings.
5. Start the sync service and verify it connects successfully.
