Fixed Price Invoice in Handyman is enabled by using fixed price on Groupings.
The most common use of this feature is to handle invoicing a fixed price job and add any additional work in the same order, but it can also be used for more advanced invoicing scenarios.
This functionality can be used with Handyman as a stand-alone solution, or with our standard integrations with Visma e-conomic and Fortnox.
Initial settings
To enable this functionality, some invoice settings must be adjusted. The invoice type must be set to "Simple invoice with grouped details". Then select one of the 3 possible grouping levels to be used for the invoicing. Other Grouping may be used on orders independent of invoicing needs.
If Groupings is not used on an order, the invoice will be a regular invoice with pricing from each registration on the order.
How to configure the order
On the order, fixed price is specified adding one or more grouping values with fixed price. In this example we have also added one grouping for additional work without a fixed price so that we can handle work not included in the agreement in the same order.
If registrations are connected to a grouping value with fixed price, the price of the registration will be ignored in the invoice, but the information (Quantity, item number (if setting is on) and description) is displayed as an info line in the invoice.
Advanced use
You can have several groupings on an order with individual fixed prices. This makes it possible to create a payment plan for the order.
A grouping is only invoiced when there is a registration connected to it, and a grouping can only be invoiced once. If more registrations are added to an already invoiced grouping, it will be specified in the invoice, but with 0 price.
