Which URLs does Handyman Office use for maps?
The map view in Handyman Office uses OpenStreetMap as the map engine. Two sets of URLs must be reachable for maps to load correctly:
OpenStreetMap tiles:
GSG Handyman zoom tiles (HTTPS, port 443):
- atile.gsgroup.io
- btile.gsgroup.io
- ctile.gsgroup.io
What should I do if maps are not displaying?
If the map view in Handyman Office is blank or shows an error, verify that your network allows outbound HTTPS connections to the URLs listed above. Check with your IT administrator or network team to:
- Confirm that tile.openstreetmap.org is accessible from the Handyman Office workstation
- Confirm that atile.gsgroup.io, btile.gsgroup.io, and ctile.gsgroup.io are accessible on port 443
- Check whether a proxy server or firewall rule is blocking these domains
- Test by opening the OpenStreetMap URL directly in a browser on the affected workstation
If access is blocked by a corporate firewall or content filter, ask your IT team to add exceptions for these domains. No other configuration you need in Handyman itself — once the URLs are accessible, maps load automatically.
