1. Install the Extension from MS Appsource
You need to be a system administrator in Business Central to perform this step.

Select the entry for "Handyman Field-Service Management for Dynamics 365"

2. Enable the extension to use httpClient Requests
- Go to Extension Management in Administration
- Find and open the entry for "Handyman Field-Service Management for Dynamics 365 Business Central"
- Activate the setting to allow httpClient Requests:
3. Make sure users have the right to use the extension
- Make sure the permission set "GSGROUP HANDYMAN" is available to all Business Central Users that shall use the Extension - e.g. via user groups or by editing the user or via the Permission Set by User page
- To achieve this for a particular user, edit the user and add the permission set "GSGROUP HANDYMAN"
- The indiviudal user should select the user role "Sales order processor" by editing his settings:
- Once these settings are applied the user sees the Handyman Menu and can configure/use the extension:
4. Establish the connection to the Handyman-Server

Open the page "Basic data and settings" from the Handmyan menu, section Periodic Activities:
- Open the page in edit-mode and enter the values provided by GSGroup in the highligthed fields:
5. First functional check
- Within Basic Data and Settings activate the option "ExportSettings"
- Click on the button "Export using standard tables"
- Upon the first export the system will ask you for permissions. Once these are granted no further confirmation is required.
- You will see a message confirming successful export
- In Handyman Office VAT rate and the address of the company will be imported
