Resource planner
Re-planning of already synced tasks/orders
Very often plans change because of sickness and changes in priority.
If the task was already delivered to Handyman Mobile, the Office planner could not easily move the task to a different person.
- Re-planning can now be done by drag & drop
- The system will automatically clean up the task from the previous user and make sure syncing removes the participant from the order
Event module
New event type
Many companies have commitments on when to finalize a job instead of when to start it. The new event type takes care of this:
- Relative to when order finish was planned
- Same logic as when planned start was planned
Warning can be before deadline, making it possible to warn about upcoming commitment or inform customer about planned completion ahead of time.
Improvements to manual events
With manual events you can keep track of project milestones, important tasks and actions. We have now new options so that more strict workflows can be defined:
- All manual events can be related to previous events
- This makes it possible to strictly define the sequence of work to be done; A manual task with relation cannot be done before the related event is finished.
- If the related event was cancelled/dismissed, rules can be set to automatically dismiss itself or/and send a message
Other improvements to events
- It is now possible to require additional information before an event is finished
- User must give extra info on Mobile or in Office to finalize the event
- This information is available in the event-api used for integrations so that more complex signalling to external systems can be made
- An event can trigger the start date to be set on an order that is has not been started yet
- New option to let any Office user close an event.
- This is useful when some order actions are handled by a Call center and such that are not a formal participant on the order.
Logistics
New features for complex material flow
New options to handle flow of planned material together with ERP systems
- Planned material can be sent to ERP immediately after creation in Handyman
- Used when ERP is responsible for purchasing/picking the material and signal when it is available
- Other registrations can be held back until order is completed
- When ERP sends planned material back to Handyman with ErpPicked=1 some restrictions apply
(Used when material availability decides the planning of the order)- Not possible to change anything other than Approved and Actual quantity, everything else is locked
- Actual Quantity cannot be larger that planned
- Rules apply both to Office and Mobile
New settings for better control of store content
- Article number must be from pricelist or miscellaneous material
- Input of material with number not in pricelist not allowed
- Store adjustments requires from/to store
- Not allowed to say that change of store content comes from/is returned to external source
- When using only parts of planned material, a store for the remaining items must be specified
Service module
Service order generation
Two new options to control how service order are generated
- When splitting into several orders by site, an option is now to split by top level site rather than nearest parent of equipment
- Split into several orders if equipment responsible is different
Other changes
- Added ID column to employee dropdown where identical names in dropdowns would make it impossible to select the correct person
API changes
REST (Common API / Handyman API)
- ERP Order number is now correctly auto-generated
- Fixed problems related to workplace address duplication and more
