Handyman is based on order management. All tasks you perform are based on an order. Customers may have other terminologies when referring to orders, such as projects.
What you see in the order module is related to licenses for other modules. Modules that provide more options in the order module include: resource planner, order control, service module, invoice module, quote module. These are activated by the license of those who will use some of these modules.
Ordermodule consist of possibilities for:
- Create order
- Delete order
- Add hours & cost
- Add material
- Add description
- Add checklists
- Add documents
- Select customer
- Add participants
- Print/send reports
- Create invoice (requires license for invoice module)
- See appointments for order (require license for resource planner)
- See/add events (require event module license)
- Log for order
- Historical orders (How can I find historical orders in order list?, How to find historical information about service objects)
In some cases the icons in the columns can become invisible.
This can be caused by resizing of the columns and can be solved by taking the program window out of full screen and then setting it back to full screen.
This can also be caused by the scaling in the Windows Display Settings, accessible by right-clicking your computer's desktop.
