Introduction
Inventory counting of stock is done in the Handyman app on mobile devices.
This article covers inventory counting for Handyman without integration with the financial system. If you have integration, the inventory counting must be activated and approved in the financial system.
The person in charge of the inventory controls will activate the inventory counting on their mobile device.
The activation of the inventory counting is done in Handyman Office at the office.

Procedure

Navigate to the Logistics module in Handyman Office

Select the Inventory tab

Select the inventory to be counted

Select edit or double-click on the stock
A popup window for the stock will now open

Click on the Stock tab

Enable the checkbox for "Inventory counting allowed on mobile device"

Choose whether you want to manually approve the inventory count, or if the technician's count updates the stock status immediately.

Click the "Apply" button to save the changes
On the mobile device:
When the technician syncs their mobile device, the stock will be in inventory counting mode.

Select Materials and Stock

Select Inventory Count
You will then see an overview of the items currently registered in the inventory, and the stock levels for these (provided that the setting to display stock levels is enabled in Handyman Office)
If you activate the "Hide counted items" option, the list of items will decrease as you count them, so you only see the items that still need to be counted.
It is possible to add items if there are items in the inventory that are not listed.
To add new items to the inventory count:

Tap on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen

Select add
The blue plus button at the bottom right will take you to the same screen to add new items.
To adjust the inventory, click on the blue box to the right of the item you want to adjust
This will bring up a dialog box where you can enter the correct inventory if it needs to be adjusted
Here are some examples from counting on mobile device:

The top item has changed inventory to 10 displayed in red font

The next item is checked off as counted with the same inventory as before

The third item in the list has changed inventory to 0 displayed in red font

When the counting is finished, press the blue button with white checkmark
If you haven't counted all items, you will receive a warning about this and a question if you still want to submit the result to the office.
Pressing ok will start a synchronization that submits the results of the inventory counting to Handyman Office.
After this synchronization, the mobile device is not in inventory counting mode. The technician has completed their part of the inventory counting.
When returning to Handyman Office, under Logistics -> warehouse, you will now see an icon indicating that the stock count has not been approved, if you have enabled the setting for manual approval of stock count results.
The office administrator will then review the count for manual approval.
When you click on approve stock count, a dialog box will appear where you can approve the count.
Once the stock count is approved, the inventory is updated with the count's inventory:
