Introduction
Sometimes the service for the Synchronisation Server becomes corrupt or otherwise stops working and needs to be re-intalled on the server.
In order to properly do that it has to be removed from the Windows services.
Environment
Handyman ControlCenter
Step by Step
- Stop and then delete the service from the Handyman ControlCenter:
- Make sure the service has completely stopped by checking the Windows Task Manager.
If you don't find this process running you can proceed to the next step.
- In order to delete the service itself from Windows you need to run a command as an administrator in the command prompt: SC DELETE "SYNCHRONISATION SERVER" /F
- Check the exact name of the service in the task processing. You do not need quote marks if the service name is one word
