The first thing you need for a service form is a service task that can be performed.
Service tasks are similar to points on a checklist and have many of the same definitions.
For more information about point definitions, please read our checklist section.
General
Once you have a task to perform, you can create a service form.
Fill in the required details: number, name, and other necessary information.
- Execution time can be used to calculate the expected duration of a service order.
- Recurrence patterns allow for different slack times for different service jobs.
- Checking the box for manual service will allow you to add this service form when creating a service order outside of the contract's recurrence cycle.
Tasks
In the tab for tasks, you can set up the service tasks in the order in which they should be performed.
Much in the way a checklist is set up with points and sub-points.
A service form must contain at least one task but beyond that you can decide the level of detail needed.
Materials
The last tab concerns the materials needed to perform the service on the equipment.
If said equipment needs lubrication or de-calcification on a regular basis, this ensures that every order also contains the materials for these tasks.
