Introduction
The extension exports Work Types as Cost Elements in Handyman. Use of Work Type Codes is mandatory in order lines to be used with the extension.
First create a regular Work Type Code. Make sure the unit corresponds to the units configured for the resources.
Cost Elements in Handyman have more configuration options than Work Types in Business Central. The most important settings are available in Business Central's Cost Element Setup page. Any configuration set here will override configurations made in Handyman Office.

| Code | Code of the Work Type. It will be used as the number of the Cost Element in Handyman. |
| Description | Description of the Work Type. It will be used as the name of the Cost Element in Handyman. |
| Export to Handyman | Specifies whether this record should be exported to Handyman. |
| Exported to Handyman | Activated by the extension after the record has been exported. If active, the record will not be exported again unless the setting is deactivated. |

| Handyman Unit | Selects the unit of the Cost Element in Handyman. |
| Handyman Order Type | Restricts the use of the Cost Element to the selected order type. Use "Internal" for non-productive work booked in Handyman on internal orders. Use "Work" for regular productive orders. |
| Handyman Hours Type | Handyman uses a standard set of Hours Types. Hours Types define the behavior of the mobile app and can be used for reporting. Select one entry. |
| Sum on timesheets in Handyman | Determines whether the Cost Element is included in the sum in the Handyman reports. If deactivated, Handyman shows the entry but does not consider it when calculating the sum. |
| Description is required | If activated, descriptive text in Handyman is mandatory. |
| Time entry required | If activated, input of start and stop time in Handyman is mandatory. |
| Timer for working time | Activates the recording of the work type using the timer for working time. |
| Timer for travel time | Activates the recording of the work type using the timer for travel time. |
| Timer for break | Activates the recording of the work type using the timer for break. |
| Adjustment is allowed | Activates the ability for the user to adjust the start and stop time in Handyman Mobile despite using timers. |
| Rounding | Selects whether the amount should be rounded. Note: Only the amount is rounded, not the start or stop time. |
