If you have a license for the event module, you will get the possibility to use events on orders.
These can be events that trigger the sending of messages to customers or workers via email or SMS. The trigger can be order creation, previous event, order restart, order completion, manual, or specific date/time.
Events can be automatically added to the orders via the order category configuration.
It is possible to add events manually to order from a template or as manually created events.
Add from template
To add from template you first have to create event templates in Configuration > Template > Event > Add
When selecting add from template you will get a list of the available templates
When a template is added - the events will be shown on the order
Add
If you want to add events manually, you can select add from the left menu and fill in the conditions like Activity settings (when the message is allowed to be sent), and what to do if the deadline falls outside of the activity hours.
For manual order you have 3 choices for type:
- Manual
- Specific day/time
- On order completion
To add the message that should be sent and select recipients, you have to select edit or double click the marked line
Select recipients and write the message
In the dropdown menu, you have some options that you can use to get the correct order number, customer name, dates, etc. in the message
When the manual event is saved, you will find it on the order
When the events are finished, you will see the Done icon. If an event in the list is overdue you will get the warning icon.
Delete
Manual events can be deleted by selecting delete in the left menu
Stop all events
